Illustrations submissions are open on a rolling basis.

 

Payment for one piece of original cover art is $100.

 

Every short story published in Flyleaf Journal features an original cover illustration which will appear in print and online. To be considered to create a piece of cover art for Flyleaf Journal, please submit up to five sample images of any kind. Artists retain all rights to their works. Response time for artwork can be longer, as we try to match the styles of the sample illustrations to the style and tone of a particular short story. Additional instructions including format, size, and deadlines will be given to artists once they have been selected to create cover art.
